Happy to announce the new release of a collaborative effort between my wife, Victoria Lington and myself:
Secondary Impressions
music for baritone saxophone and piano
This album represents a great deal of work and dedication to four pieces about which I am very passionate:
“Concertino for Baritone Saxophone and Orchestra” (Robert Nelson)
“Wings” for solo saxophone (Joan Tower)
“Milonga sin palabras” (Astor Piazzolla)
“Secondary Impressions” (Eric McIntyre)
My wife played beautifully, Pablo Furman did a masterful job of recording and mixing, and Ranier Gembalczyk at Sienna Digital polished the whole project with his mastering expertise.
Many thanks to John Bishop at Origin Classical for his excellent design and for releasing this project as part of the Origin Arts family of recordings.
This album has remained on the JazzWeek top 300 charts for five months and counting.
